Governance

As a school of the Lutheran Church, the majority of the St Mark’s School Council is elected by the congregational members of the St Mark’s Lutheran Church on a two yearly basis.

In addition, two (2) councillors can be added to the School Council as non-congregational members.

The School Council is entrusted to oversee all governance matters pertaining to the school in line with the St Mark’s Strategic Plan, Lutheran Education Australia, Lutheran Schools Association SA/NT/WA, State Government and/or Australian Government initiatives or requirements.

The School Council delegates day to day leadership and management of the school to the Principal.
