St Mark’s Lutheran School was established in 1982 by the St Mark’s Lutheran Church in Mount Barker to provide quality Christian education to our community. From small beginnings, we have grown to a current enrolment of 364 students. We are community minded and are seeking passionate educators who have students front and centre, are learners and collaborators.

Lutheran Support Officer – Classroom Assistant
Contract part-time
22.5 hours per week (until end of Term 4, 2026)
St Mark’s Lutheran School is currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time Lutheran Support Officer (0.5 FTE) to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive Christian environment, contributing to the learning and wellbeing of our students during school terms.
LSO’s work with our teachers to provide individual and small group support in literacy and numeracy learning, and with social and emotional needs. Our teaching team will largely prepare the activities to be used in supporting the students.
The successful application will demonstrate the ability to maintain the standards of our School and be able to make a positive contribution as a member of our staff team.
