St Mark’s Lutheran School was established in 1982 by the St Mark’s Lutheran Church in Mount Barker to provide quality Christian education to our community. From small beginnings, we have grown to a current enrolment of 364 students. We are community minded and are seeking passionate educators who have students front and centre, are learners and collaborators.

Lutheran Support Officer (LSO)

St Mark’s is excited to partner with passionate educators with a commitment to supporting students to thrive in a caring community. Applications are invited for the following position:

LSOs work with our teachers to provide individual and small group support in literacy and numeracy learning, and with social and emotional needs. Our teaching team will largely prepare the activities to be used in supporting the students.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to maintain the standards of our School and be able to make a positive contribution as a member of our staff team.

Temporary Relief Teachers (TRT’s)

We are also seeking suitably qualified, fully registered, Temporary Relief Teachers (TRT) to teach across our school.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the right to work in Australia, hold a current Working with Children Check and be willing to uphold the shared Christian values that form the heart of our school community.
