St Mark’s has an inclusive enrolment policy that welcomes diversity and embraces students and their families from many different backgrounds.

Once you’ve read the information below, download our Enrolment Application form, fill it in and send it back to the school via email or post. If you need any help completing the form, please contact our office on 8391 0444.
Foundation Intake
St Mark’s offers two intakes for Foundation students – one at the beginning of the year, and one mid-year intake.
For enrolments beginning at the start of the school year in Term 1, a child must turn 5 years old before 1 May in the year they commence Foundation.
For the mid-year intake, beginning at the start of Term 3, a child can start Foundation if they turn 5 between 1 May and 31 October. Mid-year intake students will complete 6 terms of Foundation (Term 3 and 4 of the year they turn 5, then 4 terms for the following year). Mid-year intake is optional, and families can choose to hold off and start their child in Foundation the following year if they desire. Children turning 5 after the 31 October cut-off must wait until the following year to start Foundation.
St Mark’s provides a transition school visit program for students in its Term 1 and Term 3 intakes.
Early enrolments are encouraged, as spaces in our Foundation classes can be limited. Once we’ve received your application, we can arrange an interview for you with our Principal and a tour of the school.
St Mark’s is a Foundation to Year 6 school, with students able to access the Middle School at Cornerstone College commencing in Year 7.
Process for Enrolment
Families are welcome to book a tour at any time, or make an inquiry by contacting our friendly staff.
1. When you’re ready to enrol your child, lodge your completed Enrolment Application form.
2. Parents and the child will be invited to attend an interview with the Principal.
3. An offer of enrolment placement is made by the Principal and parents will be advised of the time period during which they will need to respond to the offer. Once the child’s parents have completed the Confirmation of Enrolment form and forwarded it to the school with the required fee, the placement is secured and guaranteed by the school. The fee will be deducted from the first tuition fee charged on the child’s commencement at St Mark’s.
Failing to meet the timeframe to respond to the offer of enrolment and confirm your child’s place will result in the offer lapsing. However, the application will remain on the school’s database and you are welcome to contact us to resume the enrolment process.
For more information about enrolment, please contact our friendly staff on 8391 0444 or email [email protected].
