Sports Day is fast approaching! St Mark’s Sports Day on Friday, March 17 is held as a twilight event beginning at 12.40pm. This is St Mark’s first whole school event for the year.
On Sports Day, the four houses, Barker (yellow), Davison (blue), Sturt (green) and Dunn (red), compete in a number of athletic and novelty events to accrue points for the Sports Day House Shield. Students will be wearing their House coloured polo shirts.
Due to the number of events, students in Years 4-6 also compete in events (600m and discus), on Friday, 10th of March from 9.45am.
A program and map of the events will be included in the newsletter in the coming weeks.
