Bus Services
Operating under the banner of HILS (Hills Integrated Lutheran Schools), the school bus network is exclusively for the students of Cornerstone College, St Mark’s Lutheran Primary School, St Michael’s Lutheran Primary School and Lobethal Lutheran School. The bus services provide our school communities with safe and reliable transport, to and from school, that is affordable, flexible and convenient.
A snapshot of the routes are outlined below.
Bus Route 1 – Mt Barker #1
Spring Lake, Minters Field, Bluestone, Wistow via Wellington Rd, Paech Rd, Hartman Rd, Waterford/Martindale Estates
Bus Route 2 – Mt Barker #2
Bollen Rd, Clover Park, Hurling Drive, Glenlea, Aston Hills
Bus Route 3 – Nairne (via Balhannah, Oakbank, Woodside)
Bus Route 4 – Macclesfield, Meadows, Echunga (including Newenham)
Bus Route 5 – Summertown/Littlehampton (via Stirling, Aldgate, Bridgewater)

Bus charges
The cost per journey is $210.00/term for regular bookings (where a bus seat is booked daily, both AM & PM, for a school term) or $4.00 for casual bookings. Regular bookings are charged at the start of the term, and any bookings that are for less than a full 10 journey’s per week are charged a pro-rata rate, based on $2.50/trip.
Bookings
Both regular and casual bookings are available, however families requiring regular, long-term bookings have priority use of the bus service. Casual tickets are granted where spaces are available.
Expressions of Interest can currently be made here. Changes to booked travel can be made no later than 6.30am for morning travel, or by 2.30pm for afternoon travel. Bookings, payments and virtual tracking of buses will be available through the BusMinder Parent app. Parents can download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Public Bus Service
St Mark’s is accessible to students living in the Strathalbyn area by using the public bus service. Students from outlying towns operate under the bus regulations of the Department of Education. If you require information about bus services, please enquire at the time of enrolment or interview.
